"Growing our portfolio of MillerCoors brand work provides a wonderful opportunity for the Flowers team to showcase its broad range of capabilities," said Christina Steed, senior vice president, Flowers Communications Group. "Given our legacy of leadership in multicultural communications, we're thrilled about the work with MillerCoors and Major League Baseball, and we are ready to play an important role in the success of these great organizations."

Flowers first began its relationship with the legacy Miller Brewing Company in 1995, offering ethnic insights in the areas of brand support and multicultural community relations. Successful work with programs like the Miller Urban Entrepreneur Series (MUES) and Business Plan Competition became a springboard into other community-focused programs that have helped Miller build brand loyalty with multicultural audiences. Throughout Miller's merger with Molson Coors in 2007, Flowers remained one of the company's leading multicultural agencies, and have now regained the opportunity to provide public relations brand support for Miller Lite and Coors Light.

"We appreciate the strong partnership we have cultivated and sustained with Flowers over the years.  We look forward to the continued growth of the relationship and the creation of outstanding, relevant programs that effectively connect with our brands and consumers," shares Larry Waters, senior director of community commerce and partnership, MillerCoors.

In addition to work with MillerCoors Community Commerce signature programs, such as the MUES and Messenger Awards, Flowers also leads public relations for the Coors Light national hip-hop talent search, Search for the Coldest, hosted by rap artist Ice Cube; and, the return of the popular comedy search, Stand Up It's Miller Time, hosted by actor and comedian Kevin Hart. Both programs will tour in several cities around the country this summer. For more information, visit www.SearchfortheColdest.com and www.StandUpItsMillerTime.com.

Flowers also is managing national communications and community stakeholder outreach for the first MLB Diversity Business Summit, co-hosted by the Chicago White Sox. The summit will connect a diverse and inclusive group of job seekers and entrepreneurs with MLB Human Resource, Procurement and other executives throughout the industry. All 30 MLB ball clubs from around the country will be onsite to provide opportunities for prospects interested in a career in baseball. The daylong event will take place at Chicago's Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and include networking, one-on-one matchmaker sessions and a reception at US Cellular field, followed by a Chicago White Sox game.

"The diversity of Major League Baseball is important to Commissioner Selig on-field as well as throughout our entire business," said Wendy Lewis, Senior Vice President, Diversity & Strategic Alliances. "We are looking forward to welcoming the many talented students, professionals and business owners who will participate in this groundbreaking event."
